Dr. Arthur Lubitz

My name is Arthur M. Lubitz, MD. I've been in the practice of allergy & immunology for 20 years, with multiple offices in New York City and Long Island. I was chosen for the 2009 Castle and Connolly Metro Award for best doctors in NYC and the 2009 Patients Choice Awards. My interests include sports, politics, finance and communications. I've been interviewed on CNN, CNBC, WCBS-TV, WOR, and on radio NYC-AM and Larry King. These forums help me to educate and inform the public about allergic disease. I share my life with my wife of 12 years and my 2 daughters, ages 6 & 10.

Dr. Ama Alexis

Dr. Ama Alexis After completing her pediatric residency at Columbia University’s Morgan-Stanley Children’s Hospital of New York Presbyterian, and a subsequent fellowship in Allergy⁄Immunology at the Schneider Children’s Hospital of Long Island Jewish Hospital Dr. Alexis joined Dr. Lubitz’ practice as a junior associate in 2009.

Dr. Alexis is board certified by both the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Allergy⁄Immunology and is therefore very comfortable seeing both pediatric and adult patients. She is an attending physician at Saint Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center and NYU Medical Center. In addition, Dr. Alexis has presented posters on urticaria (hives) and food allergies at national meetings. As a specialist in pediatric and adult medical fields, Dr. Alexis treats asthma, nasal allergies, hives, sinus problems, eczema, contact dermatitis, food allergies and sensitivities, drugs and insect bites as well as recurrent infections.
